Mad Mejmar

Mad Mejmar reimagines the traditional Moroccan clay incense burner as a living, expressive character. Rooted in rituals of warmth, spirituality, and protection, the mejmar transforms into a figure driven by raw energy, with its flame becoming its core identity.
The piece exists both as an illustration and a hand-drawn animation, where movement enhances its intensity/flickering, unstable, and alive.
